Strange People existují od roku 1991. Za dobu svého působení prošli několika personálními změnami, než se sestava ustálila do nynější podoby. Skupina nejčastěji koncertuje v českých klubech a na festivalech. Tradičně hostuje na jednom z největších českých festivalů Open Air Music Festival Trutnov. Mezníkem v její koncertní činnosti je vystoupení na festivalu nedaleko Paříže po boku několika francouzských kapel a švýcarských YOUNG GODS. V roce svého vzniku vydává první demokazetu PINK PALACE. Materiál z let 94-95 je zaznamenán na demokazetě BLIND. Na sklonku roku propůjčila skupina dvě skladby na sampler CREATIONS FROM A MORBID SOCIETY. První oficiální album INTO DEPTH vychází v roce 1998. Čtyřmi skladbami se podílela na sampleru FROZEN SELECTION. Druhé album PACT vydává na podzim 1999. Skupina čerpá z odkazů temné scény konce osmdesátých let a mísí je do svého charakteristického kytarově - elektronického soundu.

STRANGE PEOPLE have been existing since 1991. Since the very beginning their line-up passed through several personal changes until it has reached the present form. The band play most often in Czech clubs and at festivals. They are traditional guests of one of the biggest Czech festivals Open Air Music Festival Trutnov. A real landmark of their concert activity was their performance at a festival near to Paris playing with several French bands and supporting Swiss YOUNG GODS. In the year of their rise the band released the first demo tape PINK PALACE. The material from the years 1994-1995 appears on the demo tape BLIND. At the end of the year the band provided two of their songs for the compilation CD CREATIONS FROM A MORBID SOCIETY. The first official album INTO DEPTH is released in 1998. Four of the band's songs appeared on the compilation FROZEN SELECTION. The second album PACT is released in autumn 1999. The band draw influence from the legacy of the dark scene from the end of the 80's and mix it into their characteristic guitar - electronic sound.
